The Beaverton Fred Meyer store recently sold a winning Megabucks ticket worth over 19 million dollars to a resident. The Fred Meyer store, located on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, received $100,000 in bonus money from the Oregon Lottery for selling that ticket and generously donated much of the money back to their community. Three local organizations received $10,000 from Fred Meyer; My Voice Music, the Assistance League of Portland and the Beaverton School District.  We are very honored to be one of the three organizations selected to receive these funds.

This donation clearly illustrates the way our community is rallying behind My Voice Music as we seek to provide innovative programs that reach hundreds of youth in unique and engaging ways.   Based on the support we have received, and this substantial donation from Fred Meyer and the Oregon Lottery, we are emboldened in our pursuit to reach more youth in more diverse ways.

All of our music programs are provided at a “pay what you can afford” rate.  We earn approximately 25% of the funding we need to run our groups through this type of a fee system.   The Fred Meyer gift will go directly to supporting our programs.

A sincere and humble thank you goes out to the Employees at the Fred Meyer Store on Beverton-Hillsdale Highway for their generosity in support of their community and My Voice Music.  Stay tuned as we continue to grow in our mission, reaching more youth in more diverse ways, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community.

Thank you!
