Dine out for a cause!

Since 2008, Albertina Kerr and My Voice Music have collaborated to bring music to youth experiencing mental health challenges. On Thursday, December 4th from 12:00 to 10:00 PM, you can support both organizations by stopping by Lazy Days Beaverton for bites and brews. They have a full selection of food, beer, and non-alcoholic options too. 10% of the day's proceeds will go to Kerr and MVM.

Staff from Albertina Kerr and My Voice Music will be onsite from 5:00-8:00 PM sharing information and gratitude. Come say hi!

This year, our long-time supporters Marmoset Music will be matching entries and donations to MVM made through Give!Guide for the entire week of November 18–24! That means your support goes twice as far, whether you join us at bingo or give online.

Plus, November 19th is a Give!Guide Big Give Day: Big Drinks Day! All donations made through Give!Guide on this day enter you to win big buzzy prizes from Soter Vineyards and John’s Marketplace AND your donation will be matched by Marmoset!

We’re back on a professional stage for the first time since 2019! Join us at Polaris Hall as My Voice Music students—and youth from our partner programs—take over the stage for an afternoon of music, community, and celebration.

Playing on a real concert stage with professional sound and lighting is a huge experience for young musicians. It’s a chance for them to step into the spotlight, share what they’ve created, and feel the energy of a live audience cheering them on. It's more than a performance—it’s a confidence-building milestone that shows them their voices and creativity matter.

This year’s showcase includes amazing performances from MVM students as well as youth from p:ear and Ascending Flow, two of our partner organizations that we collaborate with throughout the year.

My Voice Music Open House – November 13, 2025

Come see our expanded space at My Voice Music’s Open House! Drop by anytime between 4–6 PM at 8911 SE Stark St, Portland, OR. This free event is open to all.

Enjoy light snacks, connect with the community, and see how we’re empowering the next generation through music.

Every blood donation saves lives—and through the Music’s in Our Blood campaign, it also inspires lives. Together with Free Guitars 4 Kids, we’re connecting the life-giving act of blood donation with the life-changing power of music.

Donors will receive a special invitation to MVM’s Open House Celebration on Thursday, November 13th, where we’ll honor your gift, offer tours of our space and programs, and Free Guitars 4 Kids will give away 36 guitars to young people in our community through MVM, Friends of Noise, and Trillium Family Services.

When you donate blood in September and October donors can be entered to win a trip for two to Tokyo to see Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny or BLACKPINK.

Dress up as a music icon, a song or a “small thing” that inspires your resilience. Submit a video singing along to “All the Small Things” for our virtual chorale. Post a photo in your costume and tag us on instagram @myvoicemusic #MVMXIII. Say hello in our live chat during the event. Tickets are available for delivered catering with wine, virtual “tables” and the raffle. This event is free for all to watch. Starting October 5th at 9am, our online auction will be live! Once you're registered to participate, you’ll have access to some awesome packages, including local vacation homes, food and drinks, fun “stay-at-home” items, and more. The auction will run through 9pm on October 10th.

In order to participate in our online auction or donate during the live event, you must register for the auction. It’s quick, and it’s free!

Vibrant Table, one of Portland’s top catering companies and the awesome folks who catered dinner at MVM XI, has stepped up to support us this year. Not only will they deliver delicious, made-from-scratch, heat-and serve meals for you to enjoy during the event, but MVM will get a percentage of the proceeds! Get your order in by 5pm on Oct 8th using the code mvmxii. If you order in advance make sure to "schedule for later" for delivery on the 8th or 9th. HOST A COCKTAIL HOUR:

Gala tradition includes mingling and sipping with friends as the event kicks off. Keep the tradition going by grabbing a drink and gathering with your quarantine pod in your living room or setting up a Zoom call with your friends. You can’t have a gala without a cocktail hour, right?

Jams for Camps is going virtual!

JAMS FOR CAMPS is My Voice Music's spring benefit concert that raises funds for our summer camp season. The funds raised at this event will ensure we can provide summer rock camps tuition-free to youth that can't afford them otherwise.

Tune in at any point in the night for at-home performances by MVM students, local Portland musicians, and some words (and maybe even a cover song) from MVM Director, Ian Mouser.
