In 2011 we had a big problem.  We were sitting on an archive of hundreds of songs that were amazing.  But no one had heard them!  …so we made this album.

The songs you hear are written by youth in the many treatment centers we partner with.  The songs were heart breaking and inspirational; they were a window in the work we do with each year that is helping youth to cope and to heal during some of the toughest times in their lives.

We decided to ask some of our friends in the community (Mayor (at the time) Sam Adams, Storm Large, Bibi McGill, and others) if they would introduce a collection of these songs by telling the stories behind them; how they were written, when they were written, who it was that wrote them, and so forth.  What we ended up with was a beautiful album of songs and stories that share what it is we do, and why we do it.  This is a moving album to be sure.  Take a listen.
