My Voice Music is excited to announce that we have been accepted as one of the newest members of Berklee City Music Network. This is a huge opportunity for our students that could ultimately lead to a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music for one or more of our students someday!

From BCMN’s website:  “Berklee City Music Network® is a consortium of over 40 community organizations across the United States and Canada committed to delivering high-quality contemporary music instruction to youth from underserved communities.

The network consists of out-of-schooltime programs that receive access to the Berklee PULSE Music Method®, as well as other resources and support from Berklee College of Music.”

The first step in our relationship with BCMN is to establish an individual lessons program.  We are launching lessons in the fall of 2016 with MVM Teaching Artist and Berklee Graduate, Tim Sweeney.  Tim will be leading student’s through the BCMN PULSE Music Method.

From BCMN’s Website:  “The Berklee PULSE® Music Method is a unique and innovative online music education portal that enables students to study, jam, and practice using interactive modules and an ever-expanding collection of popular music. PULSE is open to anyone, with exclusive resources available through Berklee City Music, Amp Up NYC, and select public school partners. PULSE gives students and teachers the benefits of a Berklee education—no matter where they live. Learn more about PULSE here.”
