After nearly 6 years of development, we are excited to announce that we are FINALLY opening the doors to MVM’s long-term home at 8911 SE Stark! Drop-in anytime from 5-7PM to get a sneak peek at the new MVM Studios at our Open House on September 21st to celebrate the dawn of a new era of musical exploration for youth and young adults at My Voice Music. Tour the new building as we get settled, meet our staff, mingle, enjoy light snacks, and get down with live performances from Talilo Marfil and [E]mpress!

Talilo Marfil

Talilo is a former MVM Teaching Artist, co-founder of youth nonprofit Ascending Flow, and is a West Bisayan, Filipino-American Hip Hop Artist in Portland Oregon whose 2022 single “Big Flip” went viral on Tik Tok. He is known for illustrating social issues, cultural island heritage, and grit through his dynamic rhyme schemes and choppy lyrics.

[E]mpress

Rainyanni Paris is a former MVM student and current MVM Teaching Artist, Summer Camp Director and recording artist known as [E]mpress. Coming from a vast background of creative direction - from working the stages at Northwest Children’s Theater to teaching little ones the basics of music at MVM summer camps - Rainyanni has always pursued art and how it positively affects us all.
