With your support this was the best Rock Camp summer yet!

80 kids (ages 8-13) gathered at MVM Studios over 5 different weeks, formed 19 bands (like the Funky Guinea Pigs and the Flying Persimmon Kittens), and collaboratively wrote, recorded and performed 43 songs. 

Your generosity helped us meet some serious milestones this summer.

• We doubled the number of campers.

• We provided over $12,000 in scholarships.

• We provided leadership training to 20 advanced students who worked as camp band leaders.

As we wrap up the summer, we want to thank Camp Director Lucy Grein. This was her second and final year running Rock Camps. Lucy brings mad organizational skills and a superpower for finding magic in chaos. We are so proud of her and her 8 year journey with MVM- from a wide-eyed 15 year-old to a 22 year-old seasoned pro.
