JULY 2013 NEWS
This summer is off to an amazing start! We are running 13 different music camps throughout the Portland metro area, with partners such as Youth Villages, Morrison Child and Family Services and Sound Roots School of Modern Music. Some of MVM’s teaching artists are also getting ready to head out to Sisters, OR for 10 days of intensive songwriting and recording classes at Caldera Arts. We are so honored to be serving so many youth who would not have this opportunity otherwise, thanks to the generous support of our community! A special thank you to everyone who came out to our benefit concert on June 15th in support of our summer camps.

Help Us Welcome MVM’s New Teaching Artists
We recently hired two new teaching artists, Brandon and Luke. They are currently running programs at Youth Villages and Morrison Child and Family Services, where they are using their skills to help children use music as a positive outlet.
