Did You Know? Pt. 3
MVM’s Outreach Programs use music as a therapeutic and expressive skill to help over 1,000 youth each year to cope, to heal, and to experience joy during crisis and recovery from significant trauma, including: mental health crisis, abuse, sexual assault, commercial sexual exploitation; to unaccompanied migrant youth seeking asylum and young people inside the juvenile justice system and living in foster care.
“This is a wonderful organization! The kids absolutely love it! It creates such an incredible space for kids to explore their creative spirits and to feel good about themselves. Writing and playing music touches something that promotes healing and calm for many kids who are really struggling.” – Kathleen McNamara, Christie Care (Now Youth Villages)
